The Facel company (an acronym for Forges et Ateliers de Constructions d’Eure-et-Loir) was founded in 1939 to contribute to the military war effort in the aeronautics sector.
In 1952, the Facel Vega brand launched the prototype of a luxurious 2+2 coupé with a V8 engine for an official release in 1954 with the FV, FV1, FV2, FV3, FV4, HK500, Facel II and the Excellence.
The Facelia, Facel III and Facel 6 were equipped with 4-cylinder engines to meet the market until 1964. The end of this beautiful story.
